Vanessa Valenzuela has been practicing family law, exclusively, since being admitted to the California State Bar. Vanessa devotes her family law practice to the issues of dissolution (or divorce), child custody and visitation, establishment of parental relationships, child support, spousal support, marital property division, post-judgment modifications, and preparation and defense of domestic violence restraining orders.

In fact, Vanessa has a keen ability to negotiate settlements, whether such settlements are reached during a mandatory settlement conference at the courthouse or directly with the opposing counsel or opposing party outside of court.

Vanessa has worked in the legal field helping hundreds of individuals, in several capacities, for more than 10 years. While as an attorney she has devoted her practice to family law matters, she also has experience in working in other legal fields, such as in the criminal defense, immigration, and bankruptcy fields.
